On 31 May 2021, the 3rd Management Committee Meeting of the Mobilising CityCatalyst Project was held, with the aim of presenting the main work carried out and the results achieved since the beginning of the project. Given the impossibility of holding this meeting in person, the event was held online, through the Microsoft Teams platform.

Throughout the session, business and scientific leaders of each of the 6 PPS presented the developments and results achieved recalling what should be the main outputs at the end of the 36 months of the project.

In the scope of PPS 1 – “Sensing, Communication and Computing Infrastructure”, the main developments concern the updates and developments obtained from studies on communication, sensing and computing infrastructures, as well as the definition of technical specifications for the infrastructure support modules.

In the case of PPS 2 – “Security and Privacy”, it was not possible to have the representation of the lead co-models.

Regarding PPS 3 – “Normalized City Analytics”, the advances in the activities were discussed, having already advanced in the scope of tasks T4.1, T4.2 and T4.3. Regarding the risk analysis, the access to the Data Lake is hampered with possible legal problems related to data access and the delay in communication with the municipalities. Regarding the platform, it is known that will serve as a basis for the implementation of the demonstrators in the different cities for the remaining PPS.

In the scope of PPS 4 – “Open Innovation and Co-creation in Smart and Sustainable Cities”, the survey of initiatives and mapping of stakeholders was discussed, as well as the main methodologies and tools associated with the theme of innovation, which will support the work to be developed in PPS 4. A version of the main modules to be introduced in the innovation platform to be developed was also presented.

In PPS 5 – “Services for the sustainability of cities”, the most recent advances in activities were presented and the main “Action items: Obtain a status of the demonstrators by those responsible for each one, in order to schedule a meeting between June and July, Hold during the month of June, the kick-off meeting for the analysis of the fundamental energy matrix for the preparation of deliverable D1.2 and also define more precisely the Porto demonstrator, based on the first version proposed by APD.

Finally, under PPS 6 – “Project management, dissemination and valorisation of results” a preliminary version of the website was presented, in order to collect suggestions from the remaining co-promoters. The most recent developments were in the creation of the project’s visual and graphic identity and in establishing the consortium’s internal procedures. This meeting was therefore fundamental for all co-promoters to be aware of current developments, the timing of the next steps and to establish synergies between PPS, something that will be important for the achievement of the project’s objectives.
